education

Hobbies included being a member of High School Marching Band (4 years), Symphonic Band (4 years) and Jazz Ensemble (3 years). Instruments played were both the Clarinet and Alto Saxophone. During tenure in Marching Band, voted into the role of Secretary; responsible for administrative work for each band member – to include attendance sheets and permission slips. Ensured all other band officers were kept informed on information provided by the Band Director.

Member of the National Honor Society – a club based on academics and community  service.

It is because of my involvement with these societies, and my love for community service that helped me achieve 130+ hours of community service during my freshmen through senior years in high school. Community service activities included roadside, parks, community and beach cleanups; setting up and running booths at marching band competitions, Relay For Life, volunteering at Tampa General Hospital, and more.

I enjoy reading, writing for my college newspaper, and being a blood donor.
